Privacy Policy.

Veribound ("Veribound," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit veribound.com (the "Site"). It applies to the public website experience and related marketing communications. It does not, by itself, describe data handling practices of Veribound product deployments or customer-managed environments, which are governed separately under contracts with our customers.

1. Information we collect

We collect two categories of information through this Site.

Information you provide

When you submit a briefing request or the privacy contact form, you provide your name, work email address, company, role, and any free-text notes you choose to include. This information is sent to us by email so we can respond to your request.

When you subscribe to The Reachability Letter, you provide your email address, which is sent to Mailchimp (our newsletter provider) for list management and delivery.

If you contact us through any other channel listed on this Site, we receive whatever information you choose to send us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this Site, Google Analytics collects standard web traffic information, including:

When you load any page that contains a form, Cloudflare Turnstile also collects information about your browser and device (IP address, user agent, screen size, language, time zone, and similar characteristics) in order to verify that you are a real person and not an automated bot. See section 3 for details.

We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling networks, or third-party data brokers. The third-party services we do use are described in section 3.

2. How we use information

We use the information collected through this Site to:

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build behavioral profiles for advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

3. Cookies and third-party services

This Site uses three external services. Each is described below along with what data it processes and how to opt out where available.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics measures and reports on Site traffic in aggregate. Specific cookies typically set:

IP anonymization is enabled, so your full IP address is not stored or shared with us.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by:

For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and Safeguarding your data in Analytics.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Every form on this Site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that the visitor submitting the form is a real person rather than an automated script. Turnstile is loaded on pages that contain forms (the home page and this privacy page). When loaded, Turnstile may:

Turnstile is designed to minimize tracking and is not used for advertising or behavioral profiling. For details on what Cloudflare collects and how, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Turnstile Privacy documentation.

Mailchimp

If you subscribe to The Reachability Letter, your email address is sent to Mailchimp (Intuit Mailchimp), which manages our subscriber list and delivers our newsletter. When you submit the subscription form:

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email. For more information, see the Mailchimp Privacy Policy.

We do not set advertising, social media, or behavioral tracking cookies of our own beyond the third-party services listed above.

4. How we share information

We share information only as follows:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain briefing request and privacy contact information for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and legitimate business purposes.

Newsletter subscriber data is retained by Mailchimp for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, Mailchimp retains a minimal record of your address in an unsubscribed state so we can honor your opt-out and prevent accidental re-subscription.

Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in our Analytics account. We set this to the shortest reasonable period that still allows useful trend analysis. You can opt out of Analytics collection at any time using the methods above.

Cloudflare Turnstile verification tokens are short-lived and processed in real time. Cloudflare retains its own logs according to the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights and choices

You can request:

To make any of these requests, contact us using the form below. If you reside in a jurisdiction that grants you specific privacy rights (such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or other regions with similar laws), we will honor those rights consistent with applicable law.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information collected through this Site from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International visitors

This Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using this Site you consent to that transfer.

This policy will be updated with additional protections specific to the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other regions as we expand operations into those markets.

9. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the policy reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through this Site or, where appropriate, by email to people who have given us their contact information.

11. Contact us
